Liturgist Greeting and Announcements
National Back to Church Sunday is September 13th. This is the day to invite friends, family, and members you haven’t seen for some time back to church!
Blessing of the Backpacks – Sunday School begins September 20th with a blessing of the backpacks and make-your-own Sundaes at coffee hour.
Adult Diaper Drive– The need for adult incontinence items keeps rising as our population continues to age. This Summer, each of our Valley Parish churches will collect the items needed, such as pads and disposable underwear. All items will go to our community’s diaper bank. This collection will go through September 30th.
Men’s Breakfast – Saturday, October 3rd at Grandpa’s Restaurant on Rubber Avenue, at 9 a.m.
New Member Sunday – will be Sunday, October 25th. We will welcome and officially recognize new members this Sunday during the morning service and with a special cake at coffee hour afterward. Anyone who wants to officially join the church should see Pastor Dave to be included!
Food Share at the Salem School – On every other Wednesday from 12 – 1 p.m.
The Ecumenical Food Bank requires a consistent supply of instant oatmeal, ketchup, apple juice, pork and beans, canned fruit or fruit cups, and canned meat.
